friends...

FRIEND. a word that we all want to have, either a best, a true, a boy or a girl. Finding one isn't easy, keeping the friendship isn't also easy but becoming one is as easy as snap of a finger. How do you define friendship? for me, it's a lifelong commitment and a treasure that has to be kept in a box where only you and your friends has the access to the key of the lock. Laughters, tears, food, pictures, out of town gimmik, sleep over, etc are all part of the friendship. In our case, we have different personality, "tamad", "masungit", ""masipag", "iyakin" but we definitely love FOOD. Many would say that we resembles each other especially in school when they see us together, I guess thats because we would apply the same make-up, same shade, same brand and so on, but we have different statute, small (me), medium (Det), large (Jenny) and extra large (Justine).

We met each other in our second year as nursing students in Baliuag University, its the usual "how I met my friends" thing. We were in the same block, Justine and I are in the same group in duty while Det and Jenny are groupmates also, but not with us. We would sit beside each other knowing that its not our respective seats, well who cares as long as we can chat, laugh, cheat, eat and talk of the "chismis"  its okay. First and second semester of that year run so fast but sadly I wasn't able to enroll on the summer, the 3 pushed to on their 3rd year and graduated batch 2009 while I graduated 2010. Our friendship never had a huge fight or misunderstanding, maybe "tampuhan" but we can utter our "sorry" easily. Jenny had a boyfriend at the moment which cut her time with us so most of the time, Justine, Det and I spent our spare time in our apartment, eating and watching PBA because the two are PBA enthusiast.

Justine, Det and Jenny passed the June 2009 Nursing Licensure Exam while I, on July 2010. Today, we barely see each other, bacause we're all working, Det in a health center, Justine and Jenny as private nurses and I am working as a staff of an arbitration office. We may have different lives now but our friendship remains and it'll be stronger as time pass by. Soon we will have our own family and we always look forward to the day that we have children and hopefully they will inherit our friendship. It's good to know that friends, even distance separates us, will always be friends. i love them so dearly and i know they love me too. I hope you find your friends the way I have met mine.
